The accessible UrbanFiT community fitness area at MO Moran Reserve was designed to cater for all skill levels, from beginner to elite, and with several muscle groups targeted for a full body workout.
This project’s main objective was to solve the need of a user-friendly outdoor space for the City of Port Phillip, where the community can come together, and to aid in improving the general health and well-being of the city.
Several Trekko elements work well together to create the complete workout achievable at this gym, including the below stations and components:
- Dip Bars
- Maxi Incline Station
- Deluxe Multibench
- Swedish bars
- Bondi Bars
- Plyometric Platforms
- Balance Beam
This specific UrbanFiT combination of units were selected to aid in targeting specific muscle groups, and the strategic spacing between stations allowed for movement between workouts, and the possibility of combining several elements for an added challenge.
The neutral colour scheme of the space blends with the surrounding natural elements, and the open grass space around the park allows users to incorporate self-paced cardio.
